With the ING InsideBusiness app, large corporates can now manage their complex financial matters from a - what looks like - simple interface. We almost made all features of the pre-existing web-based digital banking platform available from any iOS or android device. After extensive research on the target group, we completely redesigned the app to improve the overall user experience, accessibility and visual design.

The ING InsideBusiness app is part of the InsideBusiness portal. This is a digital banking platform, that besides the mobile app, is also available on tablet and desktop. InsideBusiness provides access to products and services such as manage payments and insight into account balances. In addition, you can also quickly log in to the desktop portal with the app, by using the QR code.
To find out more about the target group, we’ve set up a user panel. The participants - real InsideBusiness clients - participated in various user tests. We learned about the target audience that they are on the go most of the time. Another important finding is that the pre-existing app was not user-friendly and accessible, for example: the text was not legible, the buttons were too small and it was difficult to navigate through the app.
